Letter: Trump caves to Putin

Trump delivered Ukraine to Putin, whose invasion caused the worst European military crisis since WWII. Trump’s capitulation shows an eager-to-please Trump blessing everything Putin. Trump’s bizarre claim that Ukraine started the war makes as much sense as saying Ukrainians have brazenly placed their country in the path of Putin’s innocent bombs.

Trump wants people to worship him; however, he’s done nothing to admire. His actions reveal a bungler, not a world-class deal maker. His orchestrated tsunami of orders just wastes time. Examples of Trump’s incompetence abound. Trump is Putin’s water boy: He’s afraid to defy a war criminal. Trump flatters Hungary’s Orban. Trump obeys business leaders about corporate tax cuts; he’s too fuzzy-minded to resist cuts that harm non-billionaires. Trump recklessly guts government workers; he’s too feeble-minded to manage a robust government. Trump blindly cuts NIH; he’s too short-sighted to see NIH saves lives. Trump wants Gaza to become Trumpeyland Resort; he’s too inept to protect Palestinians. Trump illegally deports American citizens; he’s a convicted felon breaking the 14th Amendment. Trump would make Canada a state and Greenland a something; he’s wasting time needed to lower grocery prices.

It gets worse: Trump covets a third term, breaking the 22nd Amendment. He swore allegiance to the Constitution he now kills. He’s the enemy within. Trump leaves wreckage and ruin everywhere. Trump may proclaim, “Here’s the future the likes of which you’ve never seen before,” but he’s leaving us in a Trump-made wasteland.
