Update: Lanes reopen on I-93 north in Concord after vehicle fire

  • I-93 north through Concord was briefly shut down near exit 12 on Thursday when a car caught fire. The car was loaded onto a flatbed and the highways was reopened about 11:30 a.m. July 11, 2019. —Monitor staff

Interstate 93 North through Concord was shut down briefly Thursday morning due to a vehicle fire, state police said.

State police said at 11:12 a.m. through social media that all northbound lanes were closed near Exit 12. By 11:35 a.m., the vehicle was loaded onto a flatbed truck and removed from the interstate, reopening both lanes for northbound traffic.
