A woman whose husband is charged with running her over in Bow said she remembers thinking, “I couldn’t die that way.”

Saturn Alleyne was pinned under the car at a Bow gas station this month. Five men lifted the car and pulled her to safety, according to reports.

Alleyne told New England Cable Network she suffered a broken collarbone and hand. She said she and her husband got in a fight and he threatened to kill her. She said she tried to run away when the car came toward her.

Alleyne said, “I just remember I couldn’t die that way,” and thought about her two daughters.

Jason Alleyne has been jailed on $100,000 bail on attempted murder and other charges. A message seeking comment was left for his lawyer.
