Letter: In support of Cinde Warmington

Cinde Warmington is my choice for governor. Her values reflect her upbringing. She grew up in a blue collar family with a father who worked in the shipyards and a mother who waited tables. She earned a college a degree in medical technology from the U. of Massachusetts working as a phlebotomist, drawing blood in a nursing home five days/ week. She doesn’t appear as someone who knows how to draw blood, but just ask her fellow executive councilors or Gov. Sununu. Cinde obtained an MBA at the U. of Texas and finally a law degree at UNH. For the past 20 years she has practiced as a healthcare attorney. She knows well the social determinants of health, that economic stability (rising from poverty) is the number one predictor of health. That

access to quality education, affordable housing and safe neighborhoods are the foundation of a healthy society where human beings care about each other. This informs her politics.

Many know Cinde has been the lone, but incredibly strong voice as our District 2 NH Executive Councilor. Her voice has been most powerful when the Executive Council voted five times in the last three years to defund reproductive health clinics, jeopardizing access to health care for many young folks who cannot afford health insurance. She knows medicine is about caring for people, not about politics or ideology. Cinde believes that every thing we can do to give women control of their bodies and their fertility, enhances their health and freedom, changing the world for the better. Please give her

your support.
