The Lincoln Financial Foundation gave a $20,000 grant to CATCH Neighborhood housing in support of its housing education program. 

 Meredith Village Savings Bank gave $4,000 to the Wright Museum in Wolfeboro to support expanding its Remembrance Garden. Previously, the bank provided funding to plant shrubbery and flowers to help better frame the space, which faces Center Street.

 Sugar River Bank has been selected to participate in the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston’s Equity Builder Program, which assists local homebuyers with down-payment and closing costs as well as homebuyer counseling and rehabilitation assistance. Borrowers are eligible to receive up to $15,000 in assistance on a first come first serve basis. Buyers must also complete a homebuyer counseling program. 

Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains were presented the Advocate for Women’s Empowerment Award from the New Hampshire Business Review. The council serves more than 10,000 girls in more than 900 troops with the assistance of nearly 5,000 trained and dedicated volunteers.
