A Concord man was arraigned in court on Tuesday on charges of felonious sexual assault, computer uses prohibited and breach of bail.

Zaymen Burdette, 19, was out on bail for previous sexual assault and drug dealing charges at the time of his second arrest.

Burdette was originally the subject of a multi-month investigation concerning allegations of sexual assault and drug dealing last year. Authorities arrested him in January 2025 on possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute, certain uses of a computer prohibited, contribution to the delinquency of a minor and three sexual assault charges. He was then released on bail.

In March 2025, the Concord Police Department opened another sexual assault investigation that led to new charges against Burdette, including two counts of felonious sexual assault involving a victim aged 13-15, two misdemeanor counts of breach of bail and one felonious use of computer prohibited.

Police took him into custody on July 7. After refusing to cooperate with the booking process, Burdette was transferred to the Merrimack County House of Corrections, where he is currently being held on preventative detention following his arraignment.
