A 4.8-magnitude earthquake with an epicenter in New Jersey was reportedly felt in New Hampshire and other parts of New England Friday morning.

The United States Geological Survey pinpointed the event to Whitehouse Station, New Jersey, part of the New York City metropolitan area, but a map shows that it was felt hundreds of miles away in New Hampshire, as well as Massachusetts, Vermont, and Maine.

No damage was reported at the epicenter, according to the New York Fire Department.

Portions of an AP article were used in this report.
