Local contested races on the primary ballot

Published: 6/20/2020 2:01:03 PM

New Hampshire will hold party primaries for state government seats on Tuesday, Sept. 8. The filing period for candidates ended June 12.

Voters who are registered with a party can vote only in that party’s primary. Voters registered independent can vote in either primary, but not both, although that will automatically register them with that party unless they inform election officials otherwise as they leave the polling place. Here are the names that will be on the ballot for the Republican and Democratic primaries.
