Fishing Derby

■Week three of Winter Carnival activities: Feb. 18 (cardboard sled races, casserole pot luck supper, torch light parade, and night skiing), Feb 19 (vintage ski day all day long, sport your favorite vintage wear on the slopes). Visit franklinoutingclub.org/winter-carnival for more information.

■The 44th Annual Webster Lake Fishing Derby takes place on Feb. 18 and 19. Visit websterlakeicefishingderby.com for more information and to pre-register. Pre-buy prices: Adults are $12 and youth are $5.

■The Franklin Democratic Committee will meet on Feb. 16 at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom to elect officers for the new election period. This meeting is open to all registered Democrats in Franklin. ■The City of Franklin will hold a Public Hearing on Feb. 13 at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers at Franklin City Hall regarding Resolution #15-23, appropriating $60,000 from the sale of 599 So. Main Street, funds to be used for the City Hall building assessment and code analysis. Provisions for persons with special needs can be made by contacting the City Manager’s office, via telephone or mail at least five days prior to the public hearing.
