Free rides to polling places on Election Day are being offered throughout New Hampshire, including the Concord region.

Concord Area Transit and Mid-State Transit are offering free voter shuttle service Nov. 5, from people’s homes or workplace to any polling place and back again.

Rides must be scheduled in advance by calling 603-225-1989 – the sooner the better, but trips must be scheduled by 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 4, the day before the election.

Many other transit services around the state are offering voter shuttles, including municipal bus services in Nashua, Dover and Exeter.

Concord Area Transit provides regular bus service in Concord and also has a twice-daily service between Concord and Laconia. Mid-State Transit provides door-to-door transportation for people over 60 and adults with disabilities throughout Merrimack and Belknap counties.
