Twenty years ago, David Gergen, an editor for U.S. News and World Report, and a person I’ve always admired, wrote an editorial I’ve saved all these years as it made great sense to me. Titled “A deepening disorder: Resentment of the U.S. has been building in developing nations,” his article has inspired me again. I to want to express my deep concern for our country – the increasing dissension within our Congress and selfishness within our government.

It is heartwarming to see so many young people who are stepping up and organizing to change the world. Black Lives Matter and many other creative protest marches have the honest intent to make all citizens (of every color and religion) truly free, many for the first time. I need to add that I think Joe Biden’s sincere and powerful compassion will most surely help pull us together toward this goal of realizing the dream of these young people. God bless America, land of the to be truly free!
