Field Hockey

Key players: Bow – Ella Gray (goal), Kaylee Jacques (goal), Maia Kimball (assist), Sabrina Bernard (defense), Madelyn Hebert (defense)

Highlights: The first half was scoreless and the scoreboard stayed that way until the Falcons netted a goal midway through the the fourth quarter. Bow wrapped up the scoring with one minute left in the match.

Key players: Hopkinton – Owen Wuellenweber (2 goals, assist), Avery Condon (2 goals), Nolan Linstad (goal), Abram Standefer (goal), Noah Aframe (goal), Kristof Cauley (goal), Fin Murphy (2 assists), Liam O’Brien (assist), Colby Boissy (save)

Highlights:  Six different players scored the Hawks, as they got on the board earlier and often. Among those goals was Standefer’s first career goal – a skilled side netting finish from distance that Wuellenweber laid off nicely. Louca also put in some hardworking minutes, running hard at both outside back and forward. Travis Windhurst and Reed Dewitt both put in good work on defense to earn the shutout.

Girls’ Soccer

Merrimack Valley 1, ConVal 1

Key players: MV – Sydney Bailey (goal), Hannah Verville (5 saves), Jules Palhof

Highlights: MV started out strong and had many chances on net the whole game, but lost its shape a bit in the second half, resulting in ConVal’s goal.

Coach’s quote: “The amount of times we hit the posts in this game might have been a world record. So many props to the ConVal goalkeeper who made many saves when we were able to shoot away from the posts. The girls worked really hard all game.” – MV’s Kylee Yam

Girls’ Cross Country

Keene 28, Concord 29

Key players: Concord – Chloe Gudas (4th, 21:01), Shelly Smith (5th, 21:24), Morgan Doherty (6th, 21:32), Bella Komorek (9th, 22:14), Quinn Doherty (10th 22:28), Gianna Gualtieri (11th, 22:36)

Highlights: Concord narrowly fell to Keene in a tri-meet. Monadnock did not have enough runners to score.

Girls’ Volleyball

Mascoma 3, Hillsboro-Deering 0

Key players: H-D – Mackenna Goulette (4 kills, extremely vocal during play), Eve Erickson (3 kills, 2 aces), Emilia Eggers (2 blocks, 2 touches, 1 ace

Highlights: The Royals swept the Hillcats, winning every set 25-16.

Records: Mascoma 3-1; H-D 0-5

St. Thomas 3, Winnisquam 0

Key players: Winnisquam – Loralie Nelson (8 digs), Caiden Carter (2 kills, 4 digs), Shayla Jordan (2 digs, 2 aces), Alyse Damato (3 kills), Bella Dill (7 assists)

Highlights: The Saints swept the Bears, 25-21, 25-14, 25-7, on Monday night.
