Key players: Hopkinton – Zach Hopper (medalist, 4-over 40), Bronson Ammann (43), Adam Richter (45), Tate Doolan (50)

Highlights: The Hawks’ three seniors Hopper, Richter and Jackson Kovar all won their individual matches on Senior Night. This concludes the regular season for Hopkinton, which will compete in the Division IV team championship at North Conway Country Club on Oct. 12.

Highlights: Merrill scored off a corner insert from Smith in the second quarter and McGonigle added an insurance goal in the third.

Berlin 2, Bishop Brady 1

Key players: Berlin – Olivia Richards (goal), Emily Smith (goal), McKenna Kelley (12 saves); Bishop Brady – Laura Yap (goal), Payton Bryson (assist), Ava Archambault (14 saves)

Highlights: After three scoreless quarters, Richards put Berlin on the board with 11:49 left before Yap tied the game at 10:05. The Mountaineers broke away from Brady’s possession in their defensive zone and took the ball all the way down to Brady’s defensive circle to score with 14 seconds remaining in the game. The Giants took the ball into Berlin’s defensive circle as time ran out.

Highlights: The Blackbirds scored on a counter attack with four minutes left in the second stanza of overtime.

Records: Keene 4-7; Concord 2-7

Hopkinton 2, St. Thomas 1, OT

Key players: Hopkinton – Avery Condon (2 goals), Owen Wuellenweber (assist), Colby Boissy (4 saves)

Highlights: Condon scored in the 72nd minute to tie the game and then found the back of the net 90 seconds into overtime to lift the Hawks to a victory. Noah Aframe played a ball to Wuellenweber for a shot and Condon put away the rebound for the game-tying goal, and Wuellenweber played a nice ball across the box for Condon to finish inside the near post for the game-winning strike. The Saints went up 1-0 on a breakaway in the 32nd minute.

Highlights: Navoy scored a goal in the first few minutes of the game off of a beautiful pass over the top of the Lebanon defense from Palhof. The Raiders had several good chances during the rest of the match, but the Pride defense didn’t let up.

Bass Fishing

State championship

Highlights: Mascoma Valley claimed the NHIAA bass fishing championship on Saturday, catching eight fish for a combined weight of 22.24 pounds on Lake Spofford in Chesterfield. Milford (13.55 pounds), Windham (12.87), Monadnock (11.89) and Bow (11.59) rounded out the top five. Kearsarge (eighth) and Hillsboro-Deering (11th) were the other local teams in the field of 12 that qualified for the championship.
