No. 7 Coe-Brown 1, No. 10 ConVal 0
Key players: Coe-Brown – Tommy Maskwa (goal), Bruce LaPierre (assist), Alex Readel (goalie), James McKane (defense)
Highlights: The Bears won their preliminary round match on their home field to earn a spot in the quarterfinals. Coe-Brown will play at No. 2 Bow on Friday. Bow won 5-0 when the two teams met on Aug. 31.
Coach’s quote: “Our defense captained by James McKane deserves a lot of credit because they didn’t give many opportunities to ConVal forwards. They are strong through the midfield and our guys worked hard to keep them from getting in a rhythm. The result was hard-earned but I think deserved. … Early in the year, Bow hammered us 5-0. They are a great team, but we expect to make it interesting this time around.” – Coe-Brown’s Christian Gompert
Records: Coe-Brown 9-7-1; ConVal 8-8-1
No. 9 Laconia 1, No. 8 Pembroke 0

The Spartans improved significantly from last season when they went 3-12-1 and missed the tournament, and they won seven of their final eight matches to finish as the No. 8 seed.
