Highlights: Nyhan won the pole vault by 3 feet and Saysaw, a freshman, won the triple jump at the highly competitive Merrimack Invitational. Concord finished ninth out of 16 teams. Pinkerton (132), Nashua North (59) and Nashua South (50) were the top three teams. Concord (32) and Coe-Brown (4) were the only two area teams that competed.

Key players: Winnisquam – John Shea (CG; game-winning RBI)

Highlights: Winnisquam scored five runs in the bottom of the seventh, overcoming a 5-1 deficit to give head coach Fred Caruso his 175th career win. Jake Twombly’s double scored Nik Puffinburger to make it 5-2. Twombly advanced on a wild pitch and dropped third strike before scoring to make it 5-3. Brady Colby came on as a pinch runner and scored to make it 5-4 and Ethan Henry singled and eventually came home to tie the game, 5-5. John Shea singled home Henry to give the Bears the walkoff victory. Shea also went the distance on the mound in the win.

Highlights: Westover was master of the draw circle and the Hawks’ defense held Lebanon to two goals through three quarters on the way to a 10-2 lead. Lebanon came on strong in the fourth quarter, scoring six in the final frame, but the Hawks held on to win

Highlights: Freshmen Pelletier and Rader won the deciding match at No. 3 doubles to give the Falcons the victory. Bow trailed 3-0 through the first three singles matchs, but rallied to tie the match heading into doubles.
