Nine area volleyball players were selected to their respective divisions’ All-State and Honorable Mention lists that were recently released by the New Hampshire Volleyball Coaches Association.

Coe-Brown Northwood Academy had two First Team selections in Division II – senior libero and defensive specialist Haile Comeau and senior outside hitter Emma Zeblisy – the only area program to have two First Team picks.

Concord Christian senior outside hitter Lylah Shumway and Belmont junior outside hitter Liv Chandonnait were named to the First Team in Division III.

Concord Christian had the most total selections of any area program, which makes sense following CCA’s run to the D-III title match in its third season since the program’s revival. Senior middle hitter Sadie Thompson and senior setter Abby Owens were named to the Second Team.

Belmont senior setter Sophia Gilbert (D-III Second Team), John Stark senior right hitter Mikayla Rogers (D-II Honorable Mention) and Concord senior outside hitter Brooke Wyatt (D-I Honorable Mention) were the other Capital Area players recognized.

Lists were selected by NHVCA member coaches.
