What: Violinist-composer Jake Armerding grew up playing classical violin and listening to 80’s pop radio. His neo-classical string quartet ROSIN released their debut at Carnegie Hall in 2018, and he splits his time between that ensemble, his 2022 Patreon project Shelter Island, and a ridiculously high-testosterone bluegrass band called Barnstar!. Taylor Armerding spent nearly three decades as front man, lead singer, mandolin player and chief songwriter for the progressive bluegrass band, Northern Lights, which recorded nine albums and toured nationally with the late fiddle legend Vassar Clements, bluegrass star Peter Rowan and folk/rock icon Jonathan Edwards.

When: Thursday, July 6 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Where: MainStreet Warner Stage in the Jim Mitchell Community Park 16 East Main Street in Warner

Info: All performances free to the public with donations appreciated for the performers. For more information, visit:  mainstreetwarnerinc.org/events/
