ManchesterAnother low-cost airlines comes to NH airport

A new low-cost airline is starting service at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, flying to Minnesota once a week as of August.

Sun Country Airlines, which is based in Minneapolis, will fly Boeing 737-800s between the Manchester and Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport starting August 22. It will be the sixth airline to have service out of Manchester and is the third low-cost carrier, after Spirit and Avelo, to come here.

Sun Country flies to 14 cities in the U.S., including Boston.

About half of the passenger traffic in Manchester is carried by Southwest Airlines. American and United also have flights.
