‘Flock’ is a visual delight for those who love birds of any feather, both wild and domesticated. Birds are the artistic inspiration for all of the work in the Twiggs Gallery’s newest exhibit opening Saturday with an artist’s reception from 1 to 3 p.m. Twenty percent of all artwork sales go to N.H. Audubon’s McLane Center to benefit the eagle who is celebrating his 30th birthday this year. The show runs through Oct. 27.

Two fun events for all ages will are scheduled during the exhibition. A “Mini Raptor Rapture” will take place Sept. 28 from 1 to 3 p.m. Audubon will bring birds of prey to Twiggs for viewing up close and Twiggs will offer a free Crafty Feathers Make & Take. Then, on Oct. 5 from 2 to 4 p.m., Twiggs will sponsor “Focus on Feathers” where you can learn fascinating feather facts and craft your own art feather to contribute to Twiggs “Living Wings” art installation which will be on display at the McLane Center through the end of October.

Participating artists are Don Belanger, Rosemary Conroy, Gretchen Gudefin, Sheryl Kamman, Ellen Kenny, Ty Meier, Cheryl Miller, Karena Ness and Cheryl Vratsenes.

All events are free and open to the public and lights refreshments will be served.
