Letter: To make electricity

Published: 03-26-2023 7:00 AM

How do we make electricity? Burn coal? No, we can’t do that. Too much air pollution. Nuclear? Oh no! Radiation danger. Hydro generators? We can’t dam the rivers. How will the fish breed? Wind turbines? They spoil the view and kill birds. Chinese solar panels? They don’t work at night. Geothermal? That technology is still being developed.

That leaves, what? I don’t know, but when Joe figures it out he’ll tell us how we can charge our electric vehicles, notepads, and cell phones; cook our meals and heat our homes. I’m not going to hold my breath until that answer comes.
