Girls’ Lacrosse

Concord 14, Salem 12

Key players: Concord – Emma Pelletier (7 goals, 1 assist), Emma Beaujouan (4 goals), Sarah Leuci (2 goals), Sofia Payne (goal, 4 assists), Greta Norton (2 assists), Nadia Hanna (14 saves), Lily Simpson (attack), Taylor Lamb (defense), Lily Savoy (defense), Jennie Durgin (defense), and Sophia Branch (defense)

Highlights: Leuci and Norton played well on the draw and circle, while Ava Phibrook, Payne, Branch and Beaujouan grubbed for a lot of ground balls.

Coach’s quote: “It was a hard-fought game from start to finish. Neither team was about to give in to the other. But it was Concord’s senior night game and they played their hearts out, making some big defensive stops when they had to, and moving the ball through the midfield with precise passing. It was a total team effort and a great way to finish the season.” – Concord’s Terry Anderson –

Records: Concord 4-13; Salem 2-15
