Letter: Services for juveniles

Published: 06-08-2023 7:00 AM

I appreciate Michaela Towfighi’s series on juvenile justice in New Hampshire. I am a CASA, a volunteer working with abused and neglected children. Ms. Towfighi optimistically refers to children and youth accessing mental health and substance abuse services. In contrast, I am currently working with a teen who is on a ten month wait list to receive these services. That is the reality in New Hampshire.
