Letter: Liz Boucher for Concord School Board Zone B

Published: 09-22-2023 7:00 AM

I am writing to publicly support Liz Boucher for Concord School Board Zone B in the upcoming election. I have worked with Liz in her past role as president of the PTO at the Christa McAuliffe School (CMS) and believe she would be a natural on the school board. She is dedicated, level-headed and is able to work well with a wide variety of people. She cares deeply about the quality of education in our district and will advocate for an evidence-based and equitable education for all students. One of the many things I admire about Liz is the amount of time she dedicates to our community.

Among her numerous accomplishments, she was the founding member of the CMS district food pantry, where she continues to volunteer on a bi-weekly basis. She is also a coach for Concord Parks and Recreation soccer and Girls on the Run. She tirelessly dedicates herself to coaching and mentoring young children within our community. Liz is not afraid to ask difficult questions, dig deep and get to the core of an issue. She is approachable, easy to talk to and has an energy for change. I have personally witnessed her act as an advocate for multiple families within the Concord School District, including my own family. She is exactly the sort of person I am excited to see on the Concord School Board. Please join me in voting for Liz Boucher on November 7th.
