Letter: Liquid natural gas, a US issue to care about

Published: 02-07-2024 3:37 PM

Liquid natural gas exports are an issue all United States residents should be aware of and care about. The United States is currently the world’s largest exporter of liquid natural gas. This is extremely harmful to the planet and our economy. The Biden administration has recently issued a temporary pause on a liquid natural gas facility in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana.

We need this project fully canceled. The future health of the planet and all life on it is at risk. I want to live on a clean planet where we hold those accountable for the harm they are causing and end these liquid natural gas facilities and exports.
