Letter: Maybe it’s not courage

I enjoyed the tongue-in-cheek letter this weekend from Stephen Rasche expressing admiration for the ‘courage’ JD Vance has shown in accepting the nomination to be Trump’s Veep after we all witnessed his urging a mob of his supporters to murder his former Veep on January 6. However, I’m not so sure it was courage. Mr. Vance seems to be pretty confused in life. He’s even changed his name three times (James Donald Bowman, James David Hamel, J. D. Vance, now preferring JD Vance), one for each decade of his short life.

Add to this his acceptance of the nomination even though he previously announced that Trump was unfit to be president, among several other nasty comments about his now ‘boss.’ So, maybe it’s just due to his lack of experience, or maybe it’s just plain stupidity.
