Letter: Reardon has our backs

More than most, State Senate District 15 (Concord, Bow and Hopkinton) needs a strong advocate in the State House. The Concord area is ground zero for state projects. The new legislative parking garage, the Storrs Street legislative garage which must come down to allow economic growth, the new $600 million men’s prison, the new forensic hospital in a residential neighborhood and the widening of I-93; these require close cooperation at the municipal and state level. Fortunately, these are issues Tara and I have anticipated and monitored for years and we look forward to working together to enhance our community and protect the interests of our constituents.

Tara has a lifelong commitment to Greater Concord, and her service shows it. State representative, county commissioner, housing advocate, passionate volunteer; she has always had our backs. Tara Reardon has a deep knowledge of municipal government, a keen understanding of how the state works and a track record of effective relationship-building between the two. These are skills we need in our next senator and just three of the many reasons I’m endorsing Tara for State Senate.
