A New Hampshire state trooper discovered heroin, hypodermic needles and other drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop Saturday in Concord.
Around 6:40 a.m. Saturday, the state trooper pulled over a car travelling 88 miles per hour in a 55 mile-per-hour zone on Interstate 93 in Concord, according to a press release. The driver was 28-year-old Christopher Chasse of Manchester.
During the traffic stop, the trooper determined Chasse’s license and vehicle registrations were both suspected. Once he took the driver into custody, the trooper also found a substance believed to be heroin in Chasse’s pants pocket. Additional drugs and drug paraphernalia, including hypodermic needles, were also found in the car.
Chasse faces several charges, including operating with a suspended registration, acts prohibited and speeding. He was processed and released at the state police barracks, and he is due in court May 3 at 8 a.m.
