Students in SAU 24 schools – Henniker Community School, Weare Middle School and James Faulkner Elementary School – are participating in the Trout in the Classroom program sponsored by New Hampshire Fish and Game and Trout Unlimited.  As the trout are now nearing time for release in May, students are testing the waters they will be released into. Students raise trout from eggs, monitor tank water quality, engage in stream habitat studies while learning to appreciate water resources, foster a conservation ethic and gain an understanding of their eco-system.
