Planning for the New Hampshire Pumpkin Festival will begin today at 11 a.m. at the Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce, 383 S. Main St. The festival is scheduled for Oct. 22. For information, visit lakesregionchamber.org.
Concord’s leaf collection will begin Monday and continue through June 4. Residents with curbside trash collection can place leaves and grass clippings curbside by 7 a.m. on their trash collection day for disposal using biodegradable yard waste bags or labeled rigid containers. Unacceptable items, including plastic bags, will not be accepted. Residents without curbside pickup or who wish to transport leaves themselves may bring to Earth Materials Recycling Center.
