The Proctor Academy girls’ soccer team defeated Winchendon School, 4-1. Sophia Weber scored two goals for the Hornets, while Megan Casey and Molly Mueller each scored one.
The Kimball Union Academy girls’ soccer team topped Brewster Academy, 1-0. KUA’s goal was scored by Taylor Soule, assisted by Ella Bankert.
The Tilton School boys’ soccer team defeated Gould Academy, 1-0. Noah Goldman-Eisenberg scored the lone goal for the Rams.
The Tilton School girls’ soccer team beat Vermont Academy, 8-0. Tia Raspante had four goals and two assists. Shannon Colbert and Georgia Cullington both added goals while Kaitlin Bardellini had two goals and an assist.
The Tilton girls’ cross country team competed in the Bobcat Invitational. Contoocook’s Maddie Clark finished eighth in a time of 20:50.
The St. Paul’s School boys’ soccer team tied Phillips Andover, 1-1. Brendan Keefe scored on a rebound after Josh Morency hit the post on a free kick just outside the box. Reese Swedberg had seven saves and Peter Brewster defended well for the Pelicans.
The Tilton School boys’ JV soccer team lost to Gould Acadmey, 1-0. Gould took advantage with a goal early in the first half. For the remainder of the game, Tilton pushed forward for the tying goal but couldn’t find the back of the net.
The Concord Capitols girls’ U10 hockey team beat The Lady Flames at New England Sports Center, 3-1. Evie Heppler of the Caps scored two goals and Erin Keville scored during the second. Kasey Yorston played well in net.
The Concord Capitols varsity football team defeated Hartford, Vt., 20-14. Nate Vandersea, Guy Kabate and Ryan Kastle scored touchdowns, while Trevor Smith threw two TD passes and Jake Jobin anchored the defense.
The Concord Capitols JV football team defeated Hartford, 42-12. Jackson Tewksbury led the way with four touchdowns. Keith McFetridge, Tyler Clarke-Toy and Keith Corriveau also scored. Malakai Lawrence played exceptional defense.
The Rundlett Middle School boys’ and girls’ cross country running teams both finished in second place at the 2016 Milford Invitational yesterday. In the boys’ division, Even Bragg and Trey Fortier finished in the top 10 overall as individuals. In the girls’ division, Morgane Orcutt and Avery Fitcher finished in the top 10 overall as individuals.
The Rundlett boys’ B-1 soccer team defeated Shaker Road Scool, 3-1. Scoring for Team B1 were Frank Muckyo, Jayden Sayles and Enock Byringe.
The Rundlett Middle School boys’ B-2 soccer team beat Hillsboro, 4-0. Scoring for RMS were Alex Forward, Habiman Byiringiro, Tyler Coskren and Grennon Gurney.
Hopkinton’s Courtney Benson, a player on the Southern New Hampshire University women’s soccer team, had an assist in the Penmen’s 2-1 win over Southern Connecticut State.
Warren Bartlett (Loudon) posted top-15 finishes among the 242 runners Saturday morning to lead the Plymouth State University mens’ cross country team at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Invitational.
