The Bishop Brady JV girls’ soccer team tied Monadnock, 2-2, on Wednesday behind a pair of goals from Hannah Constant and one goal from Anna Michaud. Micaela Eaton led the defense. Molly Levesque played well in the midfield and Jess Beeso played well in goal, saving two penalty kicks.
Jakob Beaupre had 122 all-purpose yards, two touchdowns and seven tackles, but the Franklin Middle School football team lost to Newport, 34-20. Zach Girtman finished with 153 all-purpose yards, a touchdown, 11 tackles, an interception and a forced fumble for Franklin and Dawson Lafrance chipped in on both sides of the ball with five catches for 80 yards, five tackles, a sack and a fumble recovery.
The Franklin Middle School field hockey ended the regular season with a 3-0 win against Gilford. Halle Laramie led the offense with two goals and Riley Marsh had one goal. Kathryn Weed and Allison Andrews played great defense in the midfield.
The Weare boys’ soccer team rallied with three goals in the second half to tie South Meadow, 4-4, and eventually defeated South Meadow in a shootout, 3-1, in a tournament quarterfinal match. Brady Philobotte, Emmet Rinehimer, Nate Innerfield and Jakob Hardy scored for Weare.
Concord’s Brett Stoddard had a goal as the St. Paul’s varsity field hockey team beat Buckingham Browne & Nichols, 5-1. Gillis Frechette scored two goals for St. Paul’s, while Meg Fearey and Finley Frechette each scored one.
Richard Li scored twice, and Chavez Mbeki and Sal Alireza each added one as the St. Paul’s boys’ soccer team earned a hard fought win on the road over Buckingham Browne & Nichols, 4-3.
The varsity girls’ soccer team lost to Buckingham, Browne & Nichols, 3-0.
The varsity volleyball team lost to Noble & Greenough, 2-0, but defeated Thayer, 2-0.
Led by Andrew Harell’s individual win, the Proctor Academy boys’ cross country team finished first in a four-team meet, followed by Kimball Union, Tilton and New Hampton. The Proctor girls’ team finished second to Kimball Union.

Drew Frost had 12 saves, but the Tilton boys’ JV soccer team lost to Hebron, 1-0.
Boscawen’s Lily Davis had two goals as the Plymouth State field hockey team beat Thomas College, 5-1.
Junior Elinor Purrier was named the America East Conference women’s cross country Performer of the Week for the second time this season earlier this week, this time for her efforts at the Pre-National Invitational meet held at Indiana State University. Purrier grabbed fifth place in the prestigious event with a time of 20:15.4 on the 6-kilometer course.
