I want to thank all the folks who voted for me for state representative. Your confidence in me to cast your vote means a lot to me, and the loss to my opponent, Brian Stone, of only 103 votes tells me that I was not far from meeting the expectations of the voters of Northwood.
I want to especially thank Karl (Doc ) Bergeron, my campaign chairman, Ted Wilkinson, my financial chairman, and my wife, Betty, for all the support that gave my campaign the drive to produce the results it did.
I also wish to thank all my friends who supported my campaign. I cannot name all of you, but you gave me the support that I needed to make my campaign go the distance.
I wish to congratulate Mr. Stone on his victory and wish him the best on his upcoming tour as our representative. I also wish Yvonne Dean-Bailey the best as she and Mr. Stone will be tasked to represent the needs and desires of the voters of Northwood.
I hope that our representatives will keep the residents of Northwood in their thoughts as they vote on the important issues they will face, and report back to them as I intended to. I hope that Mr. Stone will emulate Ms. Dean-Bailey’s performance. Northwood can use tireless representatives to work for the voters.
