What was the highlight of your season? Winning Division II states for the third time during my high school cross country career.

Who was the unsung hero of your team? I think we have two unsung heroes on our team, River Groves and Tanner Richards. River has come a long way since the beginning of the season, not to mention he barely trained over the summer. He stepped up and without him we would not have been even close to as successful. Tanner is the leader of the team and is always the one to put plans together. He has focus and determination that the team could not have won without.

What was the biggest surprise of the season? The biggest surprise of my season was when I managed to break 16 minutes at Brown Invitational. I knew I had a shot I just managed to capitalize on it that specific day.

Do you have any sports superstitions? If so, what are they? I do have some superstitions and one of them is that I must always wear the same brand of socks every race.

What’s your favorite pre-game meal? My favorite pre-game meal is pasta and chicken the night before the race. I also have a bagel every morning before the race with a protein shake.

If someone was going to make a movie of your season, who would play your coach? Who would play you? Tim Cox would be played by Jim Carey and Brent Tkaczyk would be played by Adam Sandler. I would be played by Matt Damon.

If you could go to any sporting event, what would it be? A football game

If you weren’t playing your sport in the fall, what would you be doing? If I wasn’t running cross country in the fall, I would be playing soccer, which is what I played all my life.

What’s your favorite app? Probably Snapchat because that is what I use the most.

What’s your most-played song right now? “The Formula” by Russ.

Do you have any must-see television shows? “Criminal Minds” is the television show that I watch every week.

If you could have dinner with any three people, who would it be? And what would you serve? I would have dinner with Jimmy Fallon, David Blaine, and Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory. I would probably serve steak tips and potatoes.

If you got a $1 million to start a company, what would you do? I would start a shoe company and work with my teammate Evan Tanguay, who would be the designer.

If you had to go on a talent show, what would you do? I would juggle and do magic tricks.
