What was the highlight of your season? Breaking the Concord High School record for assists.
Who was the unsung hero of your team? The unsung hero of our team was our libero, Brenna Vandersea. She did a great job getting balls up and controlling the defense aspect of our game.
What was the biggest surprise of the season? The biggest surprise of the season for me would be making it to the championship game. At the beginning of the season nobody expected us to do as well as we did. Even though we fell short in the finals, it was still incredible just to make it that far. I was so proud of everyone on my team for all their hard work and dedication.
Do you have any sports superstitions? If so, what are they? As a team this year before every game we would find an empty hallway and circle up. We blasted the song “Juju on that Beat” and we all did the dance that goes with it to get ourselves pumped.
What’s your favorite pre-game meal? Cimo’s turkey club with all the fixings and honey mustard!
If someone was going to make a movie of your season, who would play your coach? Who would play you? Jennifer Lawrence would play me and Steve Martin would play Coach Flower.
If you could go to any sporting event, what would it be? USA Women’s volleyball game.
If you weren’t playing your sport in the fall, what would you be doing? I would spend time with my friends and family, go to the gym, and actually attend other fall sport games.

Do you have any must-see television shows? “Keeping Up with the Kardashians”
If you could have dinner with any three people, who would it be? And what would you serve? I would have dinner with Nicholas Sparks, Ellen Degeneres and Zac Efron. We would eat Puritan Backroom chicken tenders, onion rings, greek salad and we would drink coffee oreo frappes.
If you got a $1 million to start a company, what would you do? I would open a volleyball den with both regular and sand courts to encourage the growth of volleyball in the Concord area.
If you had to go on a talent show, what would you do? I can lip sync to “Fergalicious”
