Ned Bradstreet of Hopkinton brought his daughters, Brielle, 4, and Charlotte, 2, to sharpen their skating skills at White Park on Monday morning. Bradstreet had a day off and the ice was thick and smooth ahead of the Black Ice tournament in less than two weeks. The seventh annual tournament is scheduled for Feb. 10 through 12. This past weekend was originally the weekend for the event but with the warm weather, the organizers delayed the event by two weeks.
