The artist-in-residence program from Henniker Community School sixth-graders will focus on Africa this year. The students learned about culture, geography and history of the continent. Students learned about mosaics and stained glass from Hopkinton artist Lizz Van Saun and about drumming and dance from Steve Ferrais and James Marshall. A final program will be held Jan. 11 at 6:30 p.m. in the school gym, which will be open to the public.
