St. Patrick Parish is hosting its annual Christmas Craft Fair in our Parish Center at 12 Main St. Pelham. We have many local crafters who amaze us every year! We will also have food, a Home Made Baked Goods Table, a coloring contest and raffles. Please join us on Dec. 1 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and get great gifts for your holiday shopping. Come enjoy First Friday Gallery Night and Opening Receptions at 5 Main St., New London Galleries on Nov. 2, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., meet the artists, and enjoy some refreshments. The New London Inn features the 7th Annual CFA Juried Regional Show; Bar Harbor Bank and Trust on Main Street will be showing paintings by Tom Pirozzoli and photography by Ken Schuster; the Blue Loon Bakery (a new MircoGallery) features colorful abstract work by Roger Wells and dramatic black and white photography by Jay Fitzpatrick; and Whipple Hall will have the creative works by Kearsarge Middle School students. Joining the CFA galleries for this First Friday will Emil Nelson Gallery and Annex on Main Street across from Whipple Hall.
The Meredith Public Library, 91 Main St., invites you to a presentation on New England Light Houses and the People Who Kept Them on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Sponsored by the N.H. Humanities Council and the Friends of the Meredith Library. Free and open to the public. Light refreshments served.
