Several years ago I met a young couple who had just moved to New Hampshire. It was a move away from home for him, a return for her. Several things impressed me about them both. Their devotion to each other, their intelligence, and their inherent devotion to living lives that improved their community and their fellow man.
Both of them proved my initial impression was correct. They developed their careers, bought a home and have a child. They also have worked and volunteered in the community and their church.
But this letter is about Jenn. A researcher at Dartmouth, mother, community member and now, a candidate for state Senate. When I heard she was running, I was delighted because I know how hard she works and how strong her values are. She will be a great asset to the state of New Hampshire in the Senate. Her background has taught her about the value of education and opportunity, about fairness and justice. She is genuine in her beliefs and her actions prove that.
Please join me in supporting Jenn Alford-Teaster for Senate in New Hampshire District 8. The future of New Hampshire will be in good hands.
