On Saturday, STEAM for Kids returns to Fuller Public Library at 10 a.m. Join us for Scream STEAM, learn some serious tricks to go with your Halloween treats, wear a costume … if you dare!
Children marching in the parade and parents will gather Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the Harold Martin School parking lot. Note, the HMS parking lot be closed from 10:45 to 11 a.m. during the parade line-up; please arrive before then. The parade will begin at 11 a.m. – the route will go down Main Street to the Cracker Barrel and return to the school. Thank you Hopkinton Police Department for your help! Immediately after the parade, the Hopkinton Recreation Department will be hosting games, crafts, s’mores over a fire, and a PTA food sale at Harold Martin. This is a free event for the whole family. Halloween Holler is open to children of all ages; games and crafts are geared for those up to third-grade. Be sure to bring your camera, there will great photo opportunities.
Bring the little ones to our Halloween story times today and Oct. 31, both at 10 a.m., down in our function room. Wear your costume, create a Halloween craft and enjoy a treat! No sign-up required! All little goblins, ghouls, witches and monsters are welcomed! Coffee served, and if you would like to make a treat to bring, please do! Both kids and their adults are invited to wear their costumes. Also, don’t forget that the Annual Pumpkin Carving Party is back again, taking place today at 3:30 p.m. We’ll provide the pumpkins, carving tools, plus some assistance for small hands, and all you need to bring is the creativity to whip up a fun jack-o-lantern. There will be snacks and cider, plus a fun and spooky soundtrack to get you in the mood. Pumpkins are limited, so sign up in advance by calling 279-4303.
