A Concord man was sentenced to more than six years in federal prison Friday for trafficking fentanyl, cocaine, and methamphetamine.
Jason Sfara, 44, previously pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Concord in late November to possessing the drugs with intent to distribute. He will now serve 77 months behind bars.
Parole officers attempted to inspect Sfara’s apartment on May 15, but Sfara fled to the roof of the building, according to court documents. Concord police responded and arrested Sfara on the roof.
During a search warrant of Sfara’s apartment, authorities seized nearly 108 grams of fentanyl, 32 grams of cocaine and 20 grams of methamphetamine, as well as digital scales and other drug distribution paraphernalia.
“In New Hampshire, drug trafficking has created the most serious public health hazard in living memory and also the greatest challenge for law enforcement,” U.S. Attorney Scott Murray said in a statement.
The case was investigated by the Concord Police Department.
