A fire heavily damaged a Concord home Saturday night, but none of the four occupants were injured, fire officials said.

Three city engines, three ambulances, a ladder company and a shift commander were sent to 10 Douglas Ave. in Penacook at 7:25 p.m. Saturday. Crews were able to knock down the blaze at the single-story home by 8:15 p.m. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Units from Allenstown, Boscawen, Bow, Pembroke, Penacook Rescueย and Tritown Ambulance provided coverage while Concord crews battled the fire.

The Red Cross is assisting with clothing and temporaryย lodging.
