The Henniker Town meeting has been postponed until April 11.
A statement released Saturday morning by town Administrator Joseph Device said: “After consultation with the Board of Selectmen, Town Administrator and the Town Clerk, the Moderator has decided to postpone Town Meeting until April 11, 2020, at 1:00 pm at the Henniker Community School. We feel we are making a responsible decision that is best for the town and its functioning while making every effort to accommodate public health concerns.”
The town joins at least a half-dozen other communities that have postponed the annual gathering.
