In about a year, the N.H. Rocks’ Locals Card has grown to include more than 60 participating businesses offering annual and repeatable discounts to New Hampshire residents only. At $20 and proof of residency, the Locals Card is valid for a year and has also grown to act as a budding events card, allowing residents to attend N.H. Rocks events for free or at a reduced rate. Recent examples of some events are their one-year Field Day held at Barn Door Hostel in Rumney and their Board & Video Game nights held both at Twin Barns in Meredith and Backyard Brewery in Manchester. With over 13 businesses around Meredith, 8 around Concord, and 9 near Manchester, the program is largely growing in the Lake and Merrimack Valley Regions. The participant list currently includes breweries, family-friendly locations, services, lodging, cafes, restaurants, and more. There is a large push to bring the program to the other parts of the state and expand participating businesses. Residents may purchase a Locals Card directly through the N.H.
