During National Volunteer Week (held April 19 to 25), New Hampshire Veterans Home resident and Navy Veteran, Elaine Baker, wasn’t able to thank Dot Rice in person due to COVID-19 precautions.
Instead Elaine sent out this heartfelt message to Dot.
Over the past 12 years, Dot has visited with countless resident Veterans in Tilton doing puzzles, playing cards, enjoying a game of Scrabble, or just engaging in conversation. Elaine and all at the NHVH look forward to seeing you again, Dot!
The home looks forward to the day when each and every volunteer can be celebrated in person for their priceless contributions to our veterans.
