Expect some delays Thursday around the intersection of Interstates 89 and 93 in Bow if you’re headed north.

From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, according to the New Hampshire Department of Transportation, the northbound off ramp on I-93 that leads to I-89 northbound will be closed so teams can pave a drainage trench that crosses it.

This is part of the project to rehabilitate the four-foot drainpipe that carries an unnamed stream under I-93in Bow. This project also replaces a smaller drainpipe that crosses the ramp.

Northbound I-93 traffic trying to get onto northbound I-89 will be detoured up to Exit 12S onto Route 3A south. Watch for portage message signs. The project will require many road shoulders to be closed, as well.

The work is contingent on weather conditions and COVID-19 constraints.

CLH & Son, Inc., Auburn, Maine, is the contractor for this $289,664 project, which has a completion date of August 28.
