Dan poured his heart and soul into his six years of service in the state Senate, and I’ll know he’ll do the same if given the honor and privilege of serving as your governor. I can also tell you how honored Dan was to represent Concord, Hopkinton, Henniker, Penacook and Warner, and, as he often said: “It’s the most active, informed, and engaged Senate district in the most active, informed, and engaged state in the nation.”
Dan is the same optimistic and hopeful and caring person I first met when he was working in the trenches as a legal aid attorney during the last economic crisis. And, for our daughters Iris and Josie, they couldn’t have a better dad than Dan.
There’s really so much at stake in 2020. It’s Iris and Josie’s future – it’s all of our future.
I knew this race wouldn’t be easy. But, nothing worth doing is ever easy. All the pundits wrote Dan off when we jumped into the 2014 state Senate race at the last minute, and, then they said Dan wouldn’t get anything done in the state Senate.
They were wrong on both accounts. I don’t believe in the pundits, I believe in the people. And, I believe in Dan. Join us.
