I write in support of Rep. Howard Pearl, who represents Merrimack District 26, which includes my town of Boscawen, as well as Canterbury, Franklin Ward 3, Northfield, and Loudon.

As a longtime resident of Boscawen, I want to shine a light on his outstanding representation of our community and his fiscally responsible voting record for all of New Hampshire.

Pearl was raised on, and owns, Pearl & Sons Farm LLC in Loudon. I cannot possibly emphasize enough the importance of having a sixth-generation farmer serving on the Environment and Agriculture Committee, where he has contributed his working knowledge of agriculture and the real-life effects that over burdensome regulatory policies can inflict on a small business. His calm demeanor and thoughtful approach has provided Boscawen, and all of the communities he represents, a seat at the table on many important issues.

With the state’s income uncertain due to COVID-19, it is most important to elect conservative and fiscally responsible members to the New Hampshire Legislature who will work with Gov. Chris Sununu to find ways our state can forge a successful trail into the future with the looming shortfalls in tax revenue.

Please join me in voting for Howard Pearl on Nov. 3.
