Positive COVID-19 cases among University of New Hampshire students have more than doubled in less than a week, according to information released by the school.
Thursday’s data reports there are 108 active coronavirus cases on campus – 96 being students – with a 0.47% positivity rate of the 21,090 tests performed in the week leading up to that point.
The state Department of Health and Human Services on Thursday reported the town of Durham has 105 active cases. Not all of UNH’s active cases are recorded in Durham as students and faculty who test positive are listed in the numbers of the town in which they live.
On Nov. 6, UNH’s COVID-19 dashboard indicated 47 students had tested positive for the virus.
