■Town Offices are closed to walk-in business per the Board of Selectmen. Appointments are only for transactions that cannot be processed online or through the mail. Business hours on Thursday are from 8 a.m. to noon. Please call or email the Town Offices to check if the situation has changed before you go.
■The library has returned to no-contact curbside pickups and returns. Remember to use the red bin for returns. Interlibrary loan will resume the week of Jan. 4. The library will be closed Friday. Call or email the library for more information.
■The DCC Book Club is now reading “There There” by Tommy Orange. The discussion will be on Jan. 7 at 7 p.m. on Zoom. All are welcome.
■Thank you to the Men’s Coffee Group for providing the library with a sturdy rolling cart for no-contact curbside pickups. Plenty of room for returns, pickups and “take and make” crafts.

■The Contoocook Farmers Market continues through the winter. In place of the traditional winter market, the market is moving online to HarvestToMarket.com. Place your order by Wednesday night each week for Saturday morning pick-ups between 10 a.m. and noon at the Train Depot. Masks are required.
■The Hopkinton Town Library has revised walk-through guidelines. There is a building occupancy limit for library visitors to five per half hour on Tuesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to noon and from 2-5 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please call to reserve your half hour slot. Please wear masks covering your nose and mouth. ■There is a new option off the Stevens Rail Trail. Accessible from either end of the rail trail, spot the Hemlock Spur Trail sign and follow the red blazes through the Hemlock Forest and return to the railroad bed. ■The Bill Koch League Nordic Ski Program is open for registrations. The mission of the Bill Koch League is to introduce children to cross-country skiing in a fun and supportive environment. It is run by Hopkinton’s Blackwater Nordic Ski Club and is open to all children in grades 1-8. Practices will be held after school on Tuesdays and Fridays at the Fairgrounds and some Sunday afternoons at Pat’s Peak. Skiers do not need to attend all practices. Registration is required and equipment is not provided. Some rental equipment is available. There will be COVID-19 safety policies to adhere to. ■Town Hall is closing at noon on Thursday and is closed on Friday. The Transfer Station and the library are both closed on Friday. The library is also curbside pickup only through Jan. 9. Curbside pickup hours are Tuesday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
