■Town voting will be held on Tuesday with all CDC guidelines being followed. All activities will be at Boscawen Elementary School on 1 Best Avenue. Voting hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The town meeting starts after the votes are tabulated a little after 7 p.m. Open positions include: selectman (one 3-year term), cemetery trustee (one 3-year term), library trustee (two 3-year terms), trustee of trust funds (one 2-year term), moderator (1-year term) and town clerk (one 3-year term). ■The Boscawen Public Library is pleased to have its patrons using contactless pickup service. Patrons can use the library website, email or phone to request and reserve items (books, magazines and movies). The staff is eager to assist you during open hours on Monday through Thursday from 12-4 p.m. Items can be picked up from the reserve cart located at the front entrance of the Municipal Building. Masks are required when entering the building. The lobby is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except on national holidays. ■The Agricultural Commission is beginning to make plans for the 2021 community garden. The garden is located at the intersection of Corn Hill Road and Woodbury Lane. Plot sizes are 12-feet by 12-feet and cost $15 each or four plots for $45. Gardeners also have access to a shared herb garden. Applications for community garden plots are available at townofboscawen.org and in the Town Office lobby. ■The Boscawen Congregational Church wants to let taxpayers know that one of the warrant articles to be voted on at the town meeting is to raise and appropriate the sum of $1,500 to contribute to the operating costs of the Boscawen Church Park. The Church Park, owned by the Boscawen Congregational Church, has been available to the community since the 1830s and is used by more than 500 youth and adult athletes to play baseball and softball each summer. Funds will be used to improve the infields, expand the outfield and maintain the playground and picnic areas.

■If you would like an absentee ballot for the town election on Tuesday, please contact the Town Office for a link to the form and return it to the Town Clerk’s Office, PO Box 500, Canterbury, NH 03224, or drop the request in the drop box at the Sam Lake House porch, 10 Hackleboro Road. If you would like a school ballot, please state this on the application form so Sam can send it to the SAU, or please contact the SAU directly, attention Stacy Kruger, and they will send you a ballot. ■The trustees of Elkins Public Library will have a virtual meeting on Monday at 7 p.m.
■Library hours are Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. Face masks are required. Please ring the doorbell before entering the building. Drop-in is limited to four in the building at one time.
■Keep Calm and Craft On will have a craft on March 17. Emily Preston will lead a gnomes craft. You will need a sock with a fairly long cuff and a glue gun. The library also offers genealogy resources Ancestry and Heritage Quest to patrons for free. To access Ancestry, just log into your patron account and there is a link on the sidebar after you log in. For Heritage, contact the library for login information. All you need to get started is a library card. If you don’t have one, the library staff and set one up via phone or email. Interlibrary loan is back, but please allow an extra week for delivery as there are quarantine procedures in place to make sure materials are handled safely. Even though the library building is closed, they still provide printing, scanning and faxing services. Please give the library a call or email first to arrange a time for these services.
■March vehicle renewal registration information has been mailed to those who need to renew. Please follow the directions in the letter enclosed and the town clerk will mail your new stickers and registration to you. This only covers vehicles previously registered in Salisbury, not new vehicles or vehicles of new residents. Online vehicle registration for renewals and dog licensing is now live. See the town’s website under the department of the town clerk for that information. If you cannot access these services online contact the town clerk’s office by phone (648-6322), fax (648-6658) or email (tclerksalisbury@gmail.com) for questions about vehicle registration renewals or dog licenses. ■Town elections will be held as scheduled on Tuesday at Town Hall. Set up will be as it was in the fall. Polls will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Masks are required, but there will be provisions made for those who can’t or won’t wear a mask, with voting outdoors.
■Town meeting will be postponed until April 17 at 1 p.m. (inclement weather date will be May 7 at the same time). The meeting will be held outside in back of Webster Elementary School. Details will be posted as the date nears.
